JAVARITA COFFEEHOUSE

The Javarita Coffeehouse Concert Series was established over 20 years ago and truly is the best-kept secret and bargain in the Santa Cruz Valley. This is an all-volunteer organization and a ministry of The Good Shepherd UCC, dedicated to supporting and enjoying live roots and acoustic music. Questions? Contact Randy Mayer at 520-625-1375.

LISA AND DIANE
Friday, April 12, 7:00

The dynamic duo will be returning to Arizona on a concert tour. They are well loved performers who present a perfect blend of hot jazz, sultry blues and cabaret. Otey's piano and vocals are hot and steamy. Van Deurzen sings sweetly.

ANNIE AND JONNY
Friday, March 8, 7:00

Annie and Jonny are well-known musicians from the Saratoga Springs area of New
York. Their music defies easy characterization, moving exuberantly and expertly through the genres of swing, blues, jazz, roots Americana and more. Annie’s strong, rich voice is perfectly complemented by Jonny’s slick guitar playing. We are in for a treat. Tickets at the door $15.

LARRY WORSTER AND FRIENDS
Friday, February 16, 7:00

Larry is a celebrated music man in the valley playing in various groups including Music Director at the Good Shepherd. He will combine forces with his large circle of musical friends in Green Valley for a night of folk, rock, blues, and even a little country music in the best spirit of community collaboration! This concert will benefit the Sahuarita Food Band & Community Resource Center. $15 at the door.

NAMOLI BRENNET
Friday, January 12, 7:00

A celebrated trans singer-songwriter and four-time Outmusic Award Nominee, Namoli Brennet will bring her folk-rock music to the Javarita Coffeehouse. Her live performances blur the line between singer and sonic painter, incorporating loops, delays, and foot percussion to create an ethereal one-woman soundscape--but she's equally compelling in an intimate stripped-down setting.

Tickets must be purchased in advance, either at the church office or on Sunday mornings before or after worship. Tickets are $15.  520-625-1375

MARTY AXELROD
Friday, December 15, 7:00

Los Angeles based singer-songwriter Marty Axelrod will be with us for our annual Christmas Concert. Adored by fans that say he always lights up their hearts, taking our imagination on a journey from the sublime to the ridiculous. If Randy Newman and John Prine had a love child, Marty would be it. Sounds like my kind of concert.

WINDFALL
Friday, November 17, 7:00

Great local singer/songwriters Tim and Char Seawell capture the essence of the stories of everyday people living out their lives with courage and grace in the face of everyday challenges. Infused with hope and rich with imagery, their voices are a perfect blend.

Tickets at the door $15. Proceeds to go to Casa de la Esperanza to complete a children's library in Sasabe.
